Hi, my name is Latasha Smith. I'm a freshmen at Oglethorpe County High School. I have been twirling for 8 years. 5 of those years I twirled with a group called the Starlet Twirlers. The other 3 years I was a majorette. I'm also a competition twirler. I have won numerous of awards in competition. I was named the All South Princess in 1998, Miss Liberty Belle Majorette Queen in 1999, 1st in Strut Queen in 1997, 1998,and 1999, and placed 4th in Miss Majorette of the Southeast in 1999.

I help teach a group of girls called the Starlet Twirlers. The Starlet Twirlers are a group of about 50 girls. We participate in many parades, school events, basketball games, and football games. I enjoy teaching the girls as well as I enjoy twirling.

My hobbies are shopping, dancing, listening to music, and running track. On my free time I love to shop and listen to music. I'm also on a dance team at my school. This is my 2nd year on the dance team. This is also my 2nd year on the track team. In track I run the 4x1, 100 meter dash and a little of triple jump. My 4x1 team placed 2nd in our Winder-Barrow relay meet.
